Purple Spring card

This card is made from a glossy pre-made card, and I ran it through my Cuttlebug using a dots folder. I added Bazzill diecut flowers and added buttons. I added a light purple strip to the inside edge of the card, and trimmed the edge with my Wavy scissors. Deb :)

Vintage ATC swap

I made these ATCs for a Vintage swap. The girls faces are from a Magenta stamp and the small postcards behind them, are from an Acey Duecy stamp. I added faux postage stamps from K & Co., paper flowers with faux gems, paper keys from my Martha Stewart Double Keys punch, and trimmed edges with my Deckle and Wave scissors. Deb :)

February Mingle card

I made this card for a challenge on one of my crafting groups, where you had to make a card in pink or purple and emboss it. I used a glossy, pre-made card from Dollarama, and embossed it with a Sizzix folder and my Cuttlebug. I added purple diecut flowers by Bazzill with white buttons, used my Martha Stewart Doily punch on dark purple cardstock, and trimmed the bottom with my wavy scissors. Deb :)

Vintage ATC

Happy Leap Day Year! I'm making some vintage ATCs for a swap, and here's one I made with a Post Card background (from Acey Duecy), a Little Girls stamp (Magenta), and a Double Keys paper punch (Martha Stewart). I added a paper flower and faux gem for added interest, and trimmed the edge of the background stamp with my deckle scissors. My camera doesn't show detail very well, neither up close nor from a slight distance, zoomed in. One of these days, we'll have to upgrade our camera. Deb :)

Bi-Fold Easel card

This is the easiest way to make an easel card. I scored the middle of the card and then embossed using my Cuttlebug. The label and cupcake image are both chipboard embellishments. I added a white strip of embossed cardstock and a button to anchor the easel. Simple and easy to make; just the way I like it! On another note, we're happy to see Survivor: One World and Celebrity Apprentice start this past week! Deb :)

Valentine Card

The 6x6" pre-embossed card is by Die Cuts with a View and says LOVE. I cut out the green heart at 4" using the Cricut. Using my Cuttlebug, I embossed the green heart with the Hearts Cuttlebug folder. The image is a chipboard diecut embellishment. *So sad to hear about Whitney Houston! My fave Whitney songs are still her first ones, when I was a young teen, and when MTV played her early videos.* Deb :)

Congratulations card

The truck was cut using my Cricut and mounted onto blue cardstock, which I ran through my Cuttlebug (Diamond Plate embossing folder). This was cut on the ends with my postage scissors, and mounted onto a premade card by Die Cuts with a View. I added black buttons as tires, and a premade Congratulations tag as an embellishment.
